Confiturier is presented with its original crystal lining. We join to this piece 12 solid. Vermeil = fine 18k gold layer on. Silver of exceptional quality of preservation as you can see! Exceptional and complete piece of art. Dating more than 170 years. Old and arriving to us nowadays in great condition! This confiturier and its lid are stamped with the French " Minerva" sterling Silver hallmark 950/1000.
This confiturier and its lids are stamped with the maker's mark : Antoine LEVASSEUR. He practiced from 1825 till 1862 in Paris, 12 rue Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre. Weight of the confiturier with crystal : 877 grams 28.20 Troy Oz. Height : 23,0 cm 9.05 in. Length with handles : 21,8 cm 8.58 in.Width : 16,2 cm 6.38 in. Weight of the 12 spoons : 207 grams 6.65 in. Length : 14,6 cm 5.75 in. In great condition : Completely checked and cleaned by our silversmith. Some tiny wears of use on crystal, but no crack. Great quality of vermeil on the spoons with rare wears of use. (An "antique statement" of Work of Art of more than 100 years old is joined to the invoice).
